An update from Pages & Playlist

After so much thought (and to be most honest: so many tears), we’ve made the difficult decision to sunset our book boxes. Our September boxes will be our last curated book, music, and merch boxes.

For us, like many small businesses and consumers, this has been a very challenging year, and we’ve felt the pressure of the ever-shifting economic landscape. At this moment in time, we can’t continue offering these boxes in a way that is sustainable for us.

This decision was incredibly hard, wholly because curating these boxes and sharing them with you each month has been a literal dream. And while we’re sad to see these book boxes come to an end, we also know that challenges can spark amazing comebacks. (All the fierce FMCs taught us that!)

We've loved spotlighting incredible authors, makers, and musicians. That has always been the heart of P&P, and while the format may be changing, our passion for celebrating books, music, and merch is not going anywhere. We’ve built an incredible community, and we won’t be leaving you. We’re simply working on delivering the heart of P&P in a new way.

For now, that looks like sharing bookish-vibe playlists, new book recs, and past box highlights (we’ve got a lot of those still available!). We’ll also have more bookish merch drops and new ways to build community around the books and music we all love.

To all of our incredible subscribers and customers, and every amazing author we have partnered with, we are so grateful to each and every one of you for your support of our small business. You have made this such an incredible two years.

To all current and paused subscribers, your final book box order will process as usual on September 1st and your subscription will be automatically deactivated by September 6th. You will not need to take any action. We hope you love your last box!
