đŸ©ž Our October '24 book picks are here

While they’re in it til the final breath, these main characters are spilling way more than secrets in our October book picks!

The dangerously endearing fantasy romance book is a paranormal page-turner with a vampyre bride and Alpha werewolf meeting at the altar to uphold an alliance. They’re both in, no matter how hard it may be for these two mortal enemies to behave while existing in the same room. (You could cut the tension with a canine.) The vampyre? She’s in enemey territory—right where she wants to be to solve a mystery of her own. The Alpha? He’s in misery, and with these two walking the finest line between giving into trust & lust or falling into violence & vengeance, the stakes could knot be higher.

The contemporary romance book is a dark rom-com that’s equal parts sinister and sizzling, with a truly unexpected meet cute turning into the competition of a lifetime (but since the competition is
murder, perhaps ‘lifetime’ is a poor choice of words). Two rival serial killers (he totally fangirls over her, but she’s also heard of him too) embark on a grisly game (this one’s dark! read the trigger warnings below and...my sincerest condolences to any cookies and cream lovers!). Throughout the madness and mayhem (including many, many moments that’ll have you LOL’ing) these two may just realize they’re playing for keeps.

Now onto these reads we know you’ll be dying to sink your teeth into!

Our October Fantasy Romance pick:

Bride by Ali Hazelwood

Misery Lark, the only daughter of the most powerful Vampyre councilman of the Southwest, is an outcast—again. Her days of living in anonymity among the Humans are over: she has been called upon to uphold a historic peacekeeping alliance between the Vampyres and their mortal enemies, the Weres, and she sees little choice but to surrender herself in the exchange—again...

Weres are ruthless and unpredictable, and their Alpha, Lowe Moreland, is no exception. He rules his pack with absolute authority, but not without justice. And, unlike the Vampyre Council, not without feeling. It’s clear from the way he tracks Misery’s every movement that he doesn’t trust her. If only he knew how right he was
.

Because Misery has her own reasons to agree to this marriage of convenience, reasons that have nothing to do with politics or alliances, and everything to do with the only thing she's ever cared about. And she is willing to do whatever it takes to get back what’s hers, even if it means a life alone in Were territory
alone with the wolf.
